Modules

PLAIO has an operating platform and three supporting modules that can either run independently or together as one system.  When operating all three modules – the platform will cover a process from total inbound demand (Demand planning module) to automating and optimising the Manufacturing process (Manufacturing Module) to forecasting, proposing and securing total resource need of raw materials (Purchasing Module).

All three Modules bring accuracy, predictability and transparency into the Planning process for Pharmaceutical Companies. The Modules effectively coordinate demand for material, machine usage and raw material need through automation and prediction.

DEMAND PLanning module

Demand Planning

Central Hub for Market Demand

The structure of the Demand Module is flexible and allows for seamless data flow from any existing ERP system or excel sheet that might be in use.

The Modules advanced forecasting features and visual representation of data provide a rare complete overview of total inbound demand from any forecast in use

The quality of data currently being used by your organisation does not matter.  Through our staging platform Blitz-up data can be imported directly from existing ERP systems or Excel sheets.

If data quality is poor, PLAIO creates exception reports that monitors data quality.

If data does not exist – PLAIO worksheets will create the missing data

The Demand Module provides statistical analysis through either pre-existing BI-tools or simply with its own analytical & forecasting features

The Module Detail Chart (MDC) allows users to monitor actual unit/value sales over time against historic and future forecasts

manufacturing PLanning Module

Manufacturing Planning

Direct decision support to Production Schedules

The Manufacturing Planning module is a visual tool that provides direct support in deciding optimal manufacturing campaigns. The planner is able to predict instant production capabilities and suggesting optimal campaigns based on available resources, saving valuable time and money.

The Planner provides real-time information on production campaigns, batches, cleaning time and multiple other variables that are of importance in the manufacturing process.

The friendly user interface allows for a dynamic feature were users can intuitive propose a new or make modifications to an existing campaign through a drag-and-drop function. Colour codes will assist the planner in understanding optimal production schedules

The Manufacturing Planner is easily customisable to various different workflows, scenarios, simulations or plant settings.

When using the Manufacturing Module at full capacity – the system will provide the best on-hand decision support through a dynamic user interface with important information, colour codes and intuitive features.

Purchasing planning module

Purchase Planning

Optimising inbound purchases of raw materials

The Planner optimises inbound purchases of raw materials based on existing forecasts and demand plans

The Purchase planner takes into account delivery time, order frequency, current inventory and other important parameters that are likely to impact the overall manufacturing plan

The Planner adjusts instantly inbound raw material need if any changes are made to the manufacturing plan. This ensures that raw materials are available when they are needed and that stock levels are kept at optimal levels.

A real-time graph illustrates any shortages in raw materials to the plan in place. The graph is available at any given time on any device

Automated calculations are done on estimated stock need from demand plan. The Planner proposes daily re-orders of raw materials, current stock levels and whats undelivered.

Users are able to set min. stock levels and safety levels.
